You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server automatically stores solely a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access. This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the site and improving our offering. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offering in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (f) GDPR (ger. The services for hosting and displaying the website are partly provided by our service providers as part of processing on our behalf. Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, all access data and all data collected in the forms provided on this website are processed on their servers. Our service providers are based and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection by decision: Israel, United Kingdom, USA.​

The adequacy decision for the USA serves as the basis for third-country transfers, provided that the respective service provider is certified. Certification is available.

2. Data processing for establishing contact and customer communication

Establishing contact

When you contact us, we collect personal data for the purpose of processing your inquiries in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (b) GDPR (ger. DSGVO) if you voluntarily provide us with this data when contacting us (e.g., via contact form, live chat tool, or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we require this data to process your contact request. The data that is collected can be seen in the respective input forms. Once your request has been processed in full, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (a) GDPR (ger. DSGVO) or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this scope, as permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

Once your customer inquiry has been fully processed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (c) GDPR (ger. DSGVO), unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (a) GDPR (ger. DSGVO) or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this scope, as permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

General information

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies including so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).

Protection of privacy on devices
When you use our online services, we use technologies that are necessary to provide the expressly requested telemedia service. The storage of information on your device or access to information already stored on your device does not require your consent in this respect.

Any subsequent data processing by cookies and other technologies

Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, this is done on the basis of your consent in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (a) GDPR (ger. DSGVO). Once the purpose has been fulfilled and we have stopped using the respective technology, the data collected in this context will be deleted. Use of Wix statistics for web analysis

For the purpose of website analysis, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, location information, and information about your use of our website) is automatically collected and stored using technologies from Wix Ltd., 40 Nemal St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel ("Wix"). From this data, user profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The pseudonymized user profiles will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without separate, express consent. Wix acts on our behalf.

Our online presence on LinkedIn

If you have given your consent to this in accordance with art. 6 sub-art. 1 s. 1 (a) GDPR (ger. DSGVO) to the respective social media operator, when you visit our online presence on the social media platforms mentioned above, your data will be automatically collected and stored for market research and advertising purposes, from which user profiles will be created using pseudonyms. These can be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. Cookies are generally used for this purpose. Detailed information on the processing and use of data by the respective social media operator, as well as a contact option and your related rights and setting options to protect your privacy, can be found in the data protection notices of the providers linked below. LinkedIn is a service provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn"). The information automatically collected by LinkedIn about your use of our online presence on LinkedIn is generally transferred to a server of LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA, and stored there.

6. Contact options and your rights

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • pursuant to art. 15 GDPR (ger. DSGVO), the right to request information about your personal data processed by us to the extent specified therein;

  • pursuant to art. 16 GDPR (ger. DSGVO), you have the right to immediately request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us;

  • pursuant to art. 17 GDPR (ger. DSGVO), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless further processing is necessary:

    • to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information;

    • to fulfill a legal obligation;

    • for reasons of public interest or

    • for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;

  • pursuant to art. 18 GDPR (ger. DSGVO), you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as

    • you dispute the accuracy of the data;

    • the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure;

    • we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or

    • you have objected to the processing pursuant to art. 21 GDPR (ger. DSGVO);

  • pursuant to art. 20 GDPR (ger. DSGVO), the right to receive your personal data, that you have provided to us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another responsible person;

  • pursuant to art. 77 GDPR (ger. DSGVO), you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or work, or at our company headquarters.

 

Right of objection

Insofar as we process personal data as explained above in order to protect our legitimate interests, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests, you may object to this processing with effect for the future. If the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you can exercise this right at any time as described above. If the processing is carried out for other purposes, you only have the right to object if there are reasons arising from your particular situation.

After exercising your right of objection, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

This does not apply if the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data for this purpose.
